Two snakes fight a ‘duel’ in Indian family’s bedroom. IFS officer shares scary video

An Indian family was taken aback when they stumbled upon two snakes engaged in a fierce duel in the bedroom of their village home. The startling encounter was caught on camera and the video was shared on X by Indian Forest Service officer Parveen Kaswan.
In his post, Kaswan explained that one of the forest officials received an urgent call from the family who asked for help after spotting the snakes in their home. The reptiles, which were seen engaged in a terrific “duel” in the video, were eventually rescued and released into the wild.
“So one of our beat staff got SOS call in middle of night yesterday from a village. Imagine these highly venomous ‘Walls Krait’ doing duel in somebody bedroom. They were rescued and released safely later,” Kaswan said in the caption of his post.
The Walls Krait is a highly venomous snake found in Southeast Asia, known for its striking black and white banded appearance. Despite its potent venom, it is generally shy and rarely poses a threat to humans unless provoked.

Meanwhile, wildlife enthusiasts expressed their gratitude to Parveen Kaswan and his team for safely rescuing the snakes in the comments section of his post. Many suggested that the snakes might have been mating, although the IFS officer has not confirmed this interpretation.
